Hi, my name is Amy. I started the summer camp in 2013 in Okinawa, Japan. Okinawa is an island located in the south of Japan. Airtoyo summer camp was designed to provide safe, fun, and inter-cultural experiences for the children from all over the world. The camp is co-run by a Japanese travel agency, Airtoyo. We chose Okinawa as our campsite because it is surrounded by beautiful nature. The camp includes many marine activities to enjoy the emerald green ocean.

 

For the camp to be successful, we need responsible camp leaders. Our camp leaders need to have an excellent English proficiency because one of the aspects of the camp is teaching the children English. We believe that one of the most important factors in learning English is motivation. Every year, the camp leaders bring together their knowledge and experiences to prepare fun English activities for the children. The camp leaders don’t need to have English teaching experience as long as they have a great passion for trying new things and the ability to take responsibility for leading and teaching children.

 

Joining our camp program will bring you valuable experiences as a leader as well as a chance to work with other passionate young adults from all over the world!
